An 8-year-old prodigy has independently developed multiple impressive projects using artificial intelligence tools, garnering widespread attention from over 500,000 netizens.
The father of this child prodigy is Meng To, the founder of the online learning platform DesignCode. In just two hours, the child completed two platform games, a drawing application, an animation application, and an AI chat application using the Claude AI tool. Remarkably, the child had no prior programming experience.
According to Meng To, he barely intervened during the entire creative process, with the only assistance being setting up auxiliary tools like Cursor, Git, and Netlify for his child. The child's works include a simple block game and a jumping game similar to Super Mario, as well as a minimalist drawing application and a software that converts text into animations.
To prove that these works were indeed created by the child, Meng To shared his son's growing interest in engineering since the age of one. By ages 6-7, he was deeply engrossed in Minecraft, creating numerous complex virtual buildings. Now, he has completed hundreds of projects on Scratch and Roblox Studio, and has even earned some small amounts of money through gaming.
The child also has his own YouTube channel, where he not only creates games but also designs product prototypes using Figma, truly showcasing his all-around abilities.
Most notably, the process of the child using the Cursor tool to create a drawing application was recorded. He simply input "create a brush application," and Cursor quickly generated the corresponding code.
