TCL Group and Alibaba Cloud have reached a full-stack AI strategic cooperation, focusing on the semiconductor display and smart terminal fields. They will jointly develop industry-specific large models to accelerate the intelligent transformation of manufacturing. The founder of TCL, Li Dongsheng, and the CEO of Alibaba Cloud, Wu Yongming, jointly witnessed the signing.
This cooperation will focus on three core technologies: large model reasoning, multi-modal understanding, and intelligent retrieval. Both parties plan to build a semiconductor display intelligence hub within three years and launch the industry's first strong-reasoning large model "X-Intelligence" in September this year, which is specialized in this field. This model will integrate massive industry knowledge and, through continuous learning and optimization, achieve a leap from basic to expert levels, providing strong support for the intelligent development of the display industry.
The "X-Intelligence" large model will be iteratively optimized based on the Qwen series of models from Alibaba Cloud, acting as a "decision-making brain" to provide professional knowledge question-and-answer services in the vertical semiconductor field, efficiently solving R&D and production problems, and assisting TCL Huaxing in achieving an intelligent upgrade across the entire R&D, manufacturing, and operation chain.
Li Dongsheng stated that the open-source ecosystem and technical strength of Alibaba Cloud's large models combined with TCL's industrial scenarios and data advantages will generate significant synergies. Wu Yongming also emphasized that both parties will build a full-stack AI strategic cooperation based on a global perspective, creating intelligent solutions to set new benchmarks for the industry.
