According to three sources familiar with the matter, NVIDIA plans to release a new AI chip specifically designed for the Chinese market in June. The price is expected to be between $6,500 and $8,000, significantly lower than the current H20 series, which is priced at around $10,000 to $12,000.

The new chip is based on the latest Blackwell architecture and adopts the RTX Pro6000D design framework. To circumvent U.S. export restrictions on advanced chips to China, this GPU deliberately avoids TSMC's advanced packaging process and uses standard GDDR7 memory to reduce manufacturing complexity and enhance mass production capabilities.

This move is a key market strategy by NVIDIA under the tightening global chip regulatory policies. It aims to maintain its dominant position in China's AI computing market while maximizing product coverage within compliance limits.
