Recently, Ubtech Technology, China Telecom Shaanxi Company, and Digital Life Company jointly released the first "Family Desktop AI Robot." This robot aims to provide more intelligent and humanized services for family users, marking another significant advancement in the field of smart homes.

Since July 2024, these three companies have formed a joint R&D team focusing on digital life intelligence technologies. Their goal is to create a robot that can "grow" as part of the family. This robot will be based on China Telecom's Starlight Large Model, featuring advanced capabilities such as emotional computing, environmental perception, task planning, visual semantic understanding, and long-term/short-term memory. It aims to offer diverse services in household scenarios.

Its applications are extensive, providing users with rich experiences.

Ubtech stated that the development process of this product fully integrated China Telecom's cloud-network integration capabilities, further enhancing the robot's intelligence level and scene adaptability. Through deep learning technology, this desktop robot also has functions like personalized intelligent recommendations, multi-modal emotional computing, and smart protection. It can also interact with other smart home devices to form an intelligent living network.

This robot is based on the Ubtech Wukong robot model, having undergone comprehensive AI upgrades and hardware improvements. It supports diverse interaction methods, including visual, motion, and voice interactions. The camera on its head can take photos, recognize faces, and identify objects. Its full-body design with 14 servo actuators allows it to perform dances, kung fu, and other performances. The LCD display in its eyes can show real-time expressions.

China Telecom Shaanxi Company plans to actively open sales channels within the province, aiming to sell no less than 100,000 robots in the region. This cooperation not only provides new options for family smart living but also injects new vitality into the future smart home market.
