According to Sina Technology news, after winning the Apple Design Award, Taobao Vision has accelerated its offline strategy, with the first offline concept flagship store already in trial operation within Alibaba's headquarters. This marks the transition of immersive spatial shopping experiences from the virtual world to real-world scenarios, signaling a new turning point for the e-commerce industry toward "experience-based e-commerce."
Taobao Vision's offline concept store is currently open by invitation only and showcases various future shopping scenarios, including Xiaomi SU7 virtual test drives and immersive smart home experiences, aiming to replicate Apple Vision Pro's spatial shopping experience into offline physical spaces.
The most eye-catching feature is the debut of Taobao's latest 3D artificial intelligence digital person. This salesperson digital person will be launched together with the brand Bosideng to provide customers with lifelike offline salesperson simulations. It will also be the first commercial project in the industry to fully integrate AI digital people into offline purchasing processes.
Taobao Vision recently won the 2025 Apple Design Award in the "Outstanding Interaction" category, becoming the first Chinese internet platform to receive this award in 36 years. Apple officially commented that Taobao Vision has achieved high-quality 3D product displays on Vision Pro, allowing users to accurately perceive the size, position, control methods, and applicable scenes of products, greatly optimizing the shopping decision-making experience.
Since its launch in April 2024 as the first Chinese e-commerce application on Apple Vision Pro, Taobao Vision has built a vast 3D product ecosystem, with over a million model products, and has deepened partnerships with brands such as DJI, Xiaomi Auto, M.A.C., COLMO, and Chevalier, promoting the transition of 3D shopping from visual experiences to practical applications.
