Alibaba Group officially released its annual report for the fiscal year 2025, comprehensively showcasing the achievements and development trends in various business areas over the past year.

In terms of financial performance, Alibaba Group's revenue for the fiscal year 2025 reached 996.347 billion yuan, with a net profit that grew by 77% year-on-year to 125.976 billion yuan, demonstrating strong profitability.

The various business segments showed remarkable highlights. With strong demand for AI, Alibaba Cloud achieved double-digit growth in revenue during the fiscal year, and revenue from AI-related products continued to grow by more than 100% for seven consecutive quarters, highlighting its leading position in the integration of cloud computing and AI. Taobao and Tmall Group focused on user growth and experience enhancement, with a strong increase in new buyers, and the number of 88VIP members exceeded 50 million. High-quality consumer groups demonstrated high retention rates, and customer management revenue (CMR) for the fiscal year 2025 increased by an accelerated rate of 6%. At the same time, the platform-wide marketing tool "All Site Promotion" driven by AI saw a steady increase in merchant penetration, providing merchants with more marketing opportunities.

In the field of AI, Alibaba achieved rich results. Over the past year, Alibaba has released and open-sourced multiple models covering all sizes, modalities, and scenarios. The latest model, Tongyi Qwen3 (also known as "Qianwen 3"), released in April, had a cumulative global download count exceeding 12.5 million within a month of being open-sourced. As of the end of April, Alibaba Tongyi had open-sourced more than 200 models, with global downloads exceeding 300 million. The number of derivative models in the Qianwen series exceeded 100,000, making it the largest open-source model family globally. Alibaba Cloud also accelerated the internationalization of AI products, supporting the globalization of Chinese enterprises. As of March 31, 2025, it provided cloud computing services in 34 regions worldwide. Based on the Tongyi large model, Taobao, Tmall, 1688, Alibaba International, Kouzke, DingTalk, Gaode, Fliggy, and Xianyu have all accelerated their AI upgrades. Among them, the user scale of Alibaba's AI flagship application Kouzke rapidly increased year-on-year, reaching more than 200 million monthly active users by the end of the fiscal year 2025. In March 2025, the average paying weekly active users of DingTalk reached 42 million, and DingTalk is currently the largest efficiency office app in China.
