Xunlei officially launched the MCP download service, claiming that users can simply "say a word" to let AI automatically complete download tasks. The service is compatible with both the PC version of Xunlei and NAS Xunlei, and all users can currently use it for free.
It is reported that Xunlei MCP has the ability to integrate with multiple mainstream large model applications both domestically and internationally, including applications such as Nano AI, Koutzi Space, Cursor, and Cherry Studio. Users just need to clearly express their needs in AI applications that support MCP integration, and the AI will automatically search for resources and start the download process.
First, obtain the Xunlei MCP link. Users need to open the Xunlei MCP management homepage (https://pan.xunlei.com/mcp), log in to their account, click the "Create Application" button, and enter an application name for subsequent management. After successfully creating the application, the page will generate a dedicated Xunlei MCP link. Users can click the "Copy" button to save this link, which will be used during subsequent configuration.
Next, integrate MCP into Nano AI. Open Nano AI, go to the large model interface, and click "Add Tool" — "Add MCP Service" in sequence. In the pop-up window, enter the MCP name, select "Server-Sent Events (SSE)", paste the link copied from Xunlei Cloud Drive, and click "OK". Then, open the Xunlei client, go to the "Settings" interface, and check "Enable Remote Download" in the "Download Settings".
After completing the above configuration, users can start intelligent downloads. Return to the large model interface, select a model, click "Tools", check "Xunlei MCP" and "Nano AI Web Scraping", and click "Go Online". From then on, whether using voice or text commands, users can simply create a task command in one sentence to easily enjoy the convenient service of AI automatically finding resources and downloading them.
Xunlei's newly launched MCP download service undoubtedly brings users a more intelligent and efficient download experience, and is expected to bring new changes to the download field.
