Recently, Foxconn Precision Industrial Co., Ltd. (commonly known as Foxconn) submitted a trademark registration application for "FoxBrain" to the Trademark Office of the State Administration for Market Regulation. This AI inference large model is not only Foxconn's first attempt but also the first AI model of its kind in Taiwan Province. According to public information, the international classification of this trademark is scientific instruments, and it is currently in the "waiting for substantive examination" status.

"FoxBrain" is an AI inference large model launched by the Foxconn Research Institute, covering functions such as data analysis, mathematical reasoning, and code generation. It is rich in features and highly promising. Foxconn claims that the initial version of FoxBrain was developed based on Meta's Llama3.1 model and was trained for one month using 120 NVIDIA H100 GPUs. This model is specifically optimized for traditional Chinese, although its performance may be slightly inferior compared to other models, such as DeepSeek.

Notably, Foxconn is not the only company in Taiwan Province that is making efforts in the AI field. Earlier, MediaTek also launched the Llama-Breeze2 series of AI models. Although these models are positioned as "lightweight," they also focus on traditional Chinese processing capabilities. Through these efforts, the layout of technology companies in Taiwan Province in the AI field is gradually emerging, indicating a broad future prospect in intelligent technology applications.

Foxconn's attempt in AI inference models marks another important progress in its technological innovation. With the continuous development of artificial intelligence, FoxBrain may play an important role in various application scenarios in the future, helping enterprises make intelligent decisions, improve efficiency, and even drive the development of new products.

In the future, as the substantive examination of the "FoxBrain" trademark and subsequent development progresses, whether Foxconn can succeed in the AI field is worth our continued attention.
