At the press conference of the 2025 World Artificial Intelligence Conference and the High-Level Meeting on Global Governance of Artificial Intelligence, Zhang Ying, Director of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology, revealed that Shanghai has achieved significant results in the implementation of vertical model applications this year, with a total of 82 large models passing the filing. This initiative aims to promote the construction of national artificial intelligence demonstration application bases in multiple fields such as manufacturing, finance, healthcare, and education.

It is understood that the cities in Shanghai have developed synergistically, forming high-level industrial carriers. Specifically, "Mosu Space" in Xuhui and "Moli Community" in Pudong are such demonstration zones. "Mosu Space" focuses on the model ecosystem, with more than 500 "AI+" enterprises gathering around it, providing a favorable environment for promoting the development of artificial intelligence. "Moli Community," on the other hand, focuses on embodied intelligence and vertical applications, attracting the entry of nearly 200 AI enterprises.
To support this innovative development, Shanghai also provides financing support throughout the entire cycle. The municipal government has established functional sub-funds by leading and focusing on elements such as computing power and language data through the National Artificial Intelligence Fund and the municipal artificial intelligence parent fund, combined with district-level funds, forming a financing supply system from the "seed stage" to the "mature stage."
