On an exciting day, SenseTime and the People's Government of Chenghai District, Shantou City, Guangdong Province, signed a strategic cooperation agreement on July 29 to jointly establish the country's first "AI + Toys" industrial base. This innovation closely integrates artificial intelligence technology with the traditional toy industry, opening a new chapter in the digitalization and intelligent development of the toy industry.
Chenghai, a globally renowned toy production area, has more than 60,000 toy business units, with annual output value exceeding 50 billion yuan, accounting for half of the domestic market. Chenghai is not only famous for well-known brands such as "Super Wings," but also continuously promotes industrial transformation with its strong industrial foundation and innovation capabilities. This cooperation with SenseTime will further enhance its intelligent level in multiple aspects of toy design, manufacturing, and experience, helping Chenghai move from a "strong manufacturing district" to a "smart manufacturing district."
According to the cooperation agreement, SenseTime and Chenghai will build a new engine for the "AI + Toys" industry under the framework of "Three Centers + Ten Platforms." Specifically, this will include:
1. AI + Toys Solutions Center: Using SenseTime's advanced technology, create an integrated AI solutions platform to help tens of thousands of toy companies in Chenghai achieve smart upgrades, making it "ready to use out of the box."
2. AI + Toys Industry Development Center: Provide powerful computing power and application support to implement various value-added services such as AI personalized customization and training camps.
3. Chenghai (Shenzhen) Innovation Aggregation Center: Establish industrial bases in Chenghai and Shenzhen, introduce leading industry enterprises and resources, and form a complete "AI + Toys" ecosystem.
Through these efforts, the collaboration between SenseTime and Chenghai District not only realizes the intelligent transformation of the toy industry but may also become a "Chinese model" for the global intelligent transformation of the toy industry.
