Google Inc. announced today (August 7) the official launch of a new programming tool called Jules. This tool supports deep integration with GitHub and has the ability to asynchronously handle code fixes and update tasks, helping developers improve their programming efficiency.

According to the introduction, Jules can directly clone code repositories into a cloud virtual machine runtime environment, enabling automated processing of tasks in GitHub repositories. Developers can complete a large number of repetitive programming operations in the background without manual intervention, thus saving time and increasing work output.

The tool was opened for public testing in May this year, during which it attracted a large number of developers. According to Google's disclosure, during the testing phase, tens of thousands of developers around the world have used Jules to handle tens of thousands of programming tasks and have submitted more than 140,000 code improvement suggestions, showing widespread recognition of the tool in practical applications.

Based on user feedback, Google has recently added several practical features to Jules, including reusing existing settings to speed up task execution, integrating the GitHub issue management system, and supporting input content in various forms such as images and text. Currently, the user base of this tool mainly consists of professional developers and tech enthusiasts.
