Recently, Lenovo Group announced its financial report for the first fiscal quarter ending June 30, 2025, showing strong growth in multiple business areas. The report shows that Lenovo achieved revenue of 136.2 billion yuan this quarter, an increase of 22% year-over-year, setting a new record for the same period in history. In addition, net profit also increased by 22% to 2.816 billion yuan, demonstrating a significant enhancement in the company's profitability.

In terms of specific business performance, the Intelligent Devices Group (IDG) achieved revenue of 97.3 billion yuan, an increase of 17.8%. The operating profit margin of this business was 7.1%. In the PC business, Lenovo performed particularly outstandingly, with a growth of 19%, becoming the fastest growth rate in 15 quarters. Notably, Lenovo's market share in the global PC market reached 24.6%, also setting a new historical high. In addition, the shipment of AI PCs exceeded 30% of the total PC shipments, ranking first in the Windows AI PC market. Moreover, in the Chinese market, AI PCs with five AI features accounted for 27% of the total notebook shipments.

In the smartphone business, Lenovo achieved revenue of 16.2 billion yuan, an increase of 14%. The performance in overseas markets was also very strong, with the market share of foldable phones reaching 51%, maintaining industry leadership.

The Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) also showed impressive performance, achieving revenue of 31 billion yuan, an increase of 35.8%. Among them, the revenue of the AI infrastructure business increased by as high as 155%, and the revenue of liquid cooling technology solutions also increased by 30%, showing good development potential in this field. Especially in the Chinese market, ISG's revenue increased by 76%, and the operating profit margin improved by three percentage points.

Lenovo stated that the current "super intelligence" is becoming a new trend for global technology companies, which is consistent with its earlier proposed "hybrid AI" strategy. Lenovo continues to invest in innovation, with R&D expenses increasing by more than 10% this quarter, laying the foundation for future competitiveness.
