AIbase Report Recently, e-commerce giant Taobao is conducting a beta test of a new feature called "AI All-in-One Search", aiming to reconstruct the e-commerce search experience through large model technology. This feature is located on the "AI All-in-One Search" tab page of the Taobao search page, marking that AI technology's application in the e-commerce field is accelerating from the business end (B-end) marketing to the consumer end (C-end) practical stage.

"AI All-in-One Search" is an AI Q&A product based on large models, capable of understanding users' natural language questions and performing deep thinking. After users ask a question, the AI will generate an "answer report" combining text, products, videos, and images to solve various consumer problems encountered during shopping, such as shopping guides, reputation reviews, and discount inquiries.

According to the information, currently, "AI All-in-One Search" mainly focuses on four core scenarios:Outfit Guides, Gift Lists, Purchase Guides, and Ask for Reputation. A major highlight of this feature is that users can clearly see the AI's thought process, with its thinking logic mainly divided into three steps: obtaining information, querying needs, and analyzing and summarizing. Although it is not yet clear whether the underlying large model only uses "Qwen", this feature has already shown great potential of AI in improving consumers' shopping decision-making efficiency.
