Recently, the National Science Foundation (NSF) and NVIDIA jointly announced an investment of $152 million to launch a new project called "Open Multimodal AI Infrastructure for Accelerating Science" (OMAI), led by the Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence (AI2).
