On September 2nd, Visual China announced that its visual content copyright trading platforms vcg.com and cfp.cn have successfully completed upgrades to respond to the latest regulations issued by the state. The core of this upgrade is to legally label all AI-generated synthetic content (AIGC), thereby promoting the standardization, healthy, and sustainable development of generative artificial intelligence.

According to the "Methods for Identifying Artificial Intelligence-Generated Synthetic Content" implemented by the State Internet Information Office, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and other departments on September 1, 2025, Visual China has actively implemented the identification requirements, ensuring users can clearly identify the source of AI-generated content when using it. This new regulation aims to enhance the transparency and credibility of AI-generated content, protect users' right to know, and promote the standardized development of the entire industry.

Visual China introduced a dual identification mechanism in its identification system. On one hand, an explicit identification will appear as a watermark labeled "AI-Generated Synthetic" directly on the work, making it easy for users to recognize. On the other hand, a hidden identification will embed the generation attributes and platform information into the metadata of the work, enabling content traceability and management. This dual mechanism not only enhances users' right to know but also provides a reliable means for tracking content distribution in the future.

In addition, Visual China's website has also updated user operation processes. Users can easily find AIGC works through filtering options. During the download process, users can choose whether to retain the explicit identification based on their actual needs, further enhancing the user experience.

With the implementation of this new regulation, Visual China hopes to provide users with better content services through a scientific and reasonable identification system, while promoting the healthy development of the generative artificial intelligence industry and ensuring that the sources of content are clear and identifiable.
