AIbase Report - Google recently posted a teaser on X platform, announcing that it will reveal more detailed information about the "Gemini for Home" program, while also revealing that it is developing new Nest hardware devices for this AI assistant.

Gemini for Home will completely replace the existing Google Assistant, bringing significant functional improvements. The new system supports more natural language interaction and a simplified interface, capable of handling complex tasks such as recommending recipes based on ingredients in the refrigerator, providing car purchase consultation, and assisting with appliance troubleshooting.

The teaser showed a product that appears to be a new Nest camera, with an appearance similar to Google's existing wired Nest security cameras. Additionally, a mysterious Nest speaker product briefly appeared in Google's recent live stream and may also be released at the same time.

Gemini for Home will adopt a dual pricing model, offering both a free version and a paid subscription service, similar to Amazon's Alexa ecosystem. According to information from the CES show, users who pay $10 per month for the Nest Aware subscription will get priority access to Gemini features in Google Home, although Google has not confirmed this information recently.

This program was first announced at the "Made By Google" event last month.
