On September 12, at the 2025 Inclusion Bund Conference, AQ, an AI health application under Ant Group, launched a series of new features, addressing pain points such as family health management and preventing elderly people from being scammed when seeking medical care. AQ introduced a "Health Record," launched an "AI Fraud Detection Hotline" in collaboration with China Mobile, and released an AI Agent Open Platform to help more doctors create AI assistants for efficient service.

Latest data shows that since the launch of the test version last September, AQ has served over 140 million users, with nearly 60% coming from third-tier and lower regions. "In the AI era, AQ hopes to promote deeper precision medicine and broader inclusive healthcare, benefiting every individual," said Zhang Junjie, Vice President of Ant Group and General Manager of the Digital Healthcare Business Unit.

Help families manage health, help the elderly save money on medical expenses

At this year's Bund Conference, AQ, which introduced a series of product upgrades, became one of the most popular interactive booths. Elderly people and young people visiting the exhibition experienced new features like "Ask Health" and "Take Skin Photos."

AQ's newly upgraded "Health Record" enables full integration of medical records, medication history, diet and exercise information, acting like a "health record safe" to help you manage your health clearly. It also supports data integration from 10 major brands including Apple, Huawei, vivo, Yu Yue, and Silicon Base Dynamics, with AI providing personalized health advice. When consulting AQ, it can combine the health record to offer tailored answers. The "Health Record" supports adding up to 20 family members' information.

"AI Smart Skin Detection" also became a highlight at this year's Bund Conference. By combining the capabilities of large models, AQ can identify over 50 types of skin diseases. Using AQ to take a photo of the tongue coating can detect Chinese medicine constitution, hair photos can check for hair loss risks, and full-face photos can provide detailed skin analysis reports and health care recommendations.

Additionally, to make it easier for the elderly to find medical care, AQ launched the "AI Fraud Detection Hotline" in collaboration with China Mobile. Elderly people can call directly to access an AI doctor. If they encounter suspicious information or sudden physical discomfort, they can get immediate assistance. Previously, AQ also announced a campaign against fake medical advertisements, introducing tools such as AI image fraud detection and AI phone verification, and publicly recruited community anti-fraud teams.

According to the information, with continuous upgrades, AI clinics, health records, and fraud detection have become three key differentiating features of AQ, covering the needs of emergency cases, chronic diseases, and the elderly. "Whether in remote rural areas or first-tier cities, we hope to equip every Chinese family with a 'health manager,' always online and ready to respond to everyone's health needs at any time," explained Liu Junwei, General Manager of Ant AI Healthcare.

Top medical resources reach small towns and villages, even elderly people in the countryside can consult AI

Seeking good hospitals and seeing good doctors is a common medical need, but in reality, high-quality medical resources are limited. According to the "2024 National Medical Service Capacity Survey Report," the number of tertiary hospitals in eastern provinces accounts for 50% of the national total, while western provinces account for less than 5%. The proportion of practicing physicians in rural areas is less than 20% nationwide, and urban per capita medical resources are more than 2.5 times that of rural areas.

At the Bund Conference, to help more doctors and medical institutions develop professional, personalized, and automated medical AI agents, and promote more inclusive AI healthcare services, AQ officially launched an AI Agent Open Platform that is easy for doctors to use. Liu Junwei, General Manager of Ant AI Healthcare, stated, "We hope that through the AI Agent Open Platform, each doctor can have their own AI assistant, allowing experts to have multiple identities, enabling grassroots doctors to enhance their skills, and helping family doctors protect households."

To ensure that people in remote areas can also enjoy high-quality health services, AQ is working with many doctors to promote the application of AI technology. One of AQ's biggest features is connecting real medical service resources. According to the information, AQ connects nearly 1 million real doctors nationwide, integrates over 200,000 doctors on the Good Doctor platform for online consultations, and has helped more than 300 renowned doctors create AI avatars that are available 24/7 to provide medical services.

For example, Dr. Wang Jieting from the Nanjing Road Community Health Center in Huangpu District, Shanghai, can now provide 24-hour health consultations for the elderly in her community using the "Digital Family Doctor • Huangpu" AI agent on AQ. Currently, this AI agent has launched over 200 AI avatars for family doctors across the district, covering 400,000 permanent residents and millions of working populations, helping to ease the pressure on family doctor services and improve service efficiency for residents.
