On September 19, 2025, Shengshu Technology announced the completion of a new round of A-round financing worth hundreds of millions of RMB. The round was led by Bohua Capital, with continued participation from existing shareholders such as Baidu Strategic Investment, Beijing Artificial Intelligence Industry Investment Fund, Omio Venture Capital, Datayes Capital, and BV Baidu Venture Capital, as well as additional investment from industry partners like Jianfa Emerging Investment.
Since its establishment in 2023, Shengshu Technology has demonstrated strong industry practice experience and global technology implementation capabilities, thanks to its powerful core team composed of technical talents from top universities around the world, including Tsinghua University, Peking University, Imperial College London, and Carnegie Mellon University, as well as product development and industry service talents from the industry.
Shengshu Technology focuses on the independent research and development of multimodal large models and their applications. Its core product Vidu is capable of AI image generation, video generation, and audio generation, and is widely applied in multiple industries such as the Internet, advertising, e-commerce, animation, culture and tourism, radio and television, education, games, and film and television. In July 2024, Vidu was launched globally, introducing the world's first concept of "Reference Generation" images/videos. With key breakthroughs in maintaining consistency in commercial content creation, Vidu quickly reached over 30 million users and 6,000 developers and enterprises across more than 200 countries and regions worldwide.
Shengshu Technology has generated over 400 million videos through Vidu, with the number of core functions "Reference Generation" videos and "Reference Generation" images exceeding 100 million, among which the volume of commercial content materials exceeds 50%.
