Recently, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang confirmed in an interview that NVIDIA has invested in Elon Musk's new company xAI. Huang said he is very excited about the funding situation of xAI and expressed his desire to participate in almost all areas that Musk is involved in.

When talking about another well-known artificial intelligence company, OpenAI, Huang mentioned that the collaboration between NVIDIA and OpenAI will help this startup transform into a "self-managed large-scale data center operator." He admitted that he was not aware of the deal between OpenAI and AMD before it was publicly announced, expressing regret for not investing in OpenAI earlier. He pointed out that OpenAI's revenue is showing exponential growth, indicating its huge market potential.

When asked how OpenAI would fund the deal with NVIDIA, Huang said that OpenAI "currently doesn't have money" and plans to raise funds in the future through revenue as well as equity or debt financing.

Previously, sources revealed that xAI is planning a larger round of funding, expected to raise $20 billion, which exceeds the initial plan. This funding will be supported by investors such as NVIDIA and will include equity financing and debt financing through a special purpose vehicle (SPV).
