After its previous launch on the Apple iOS App Store, OpenAI's popular AI video generation application Sora is now available on the Google Play Store, indicating that the app is about to officially launch on the Android platform.
According to tech media Android Police and Artem Russakovskii, the founder of the well-known app database APKMirror, the Sora by OpenAI app on Google Play has already started accepting pre-registrations.
Similar to the iOS version, the Sora on Google Play is currently only open for pre-registration in the United States and Canada, two North American countries. This development suggests that Android users will soon be able to experience this powerful AI video generation tool, but initially, it will still follow similar geographic restrictions as on iOS.
