Recently, the Chengdu Intelligent Glasses Industry Ecosystem Development Conference was held. One of the "Four Little Dragons" in AR, Sichuan Yimgo Technology Co., Ltd., launched its new generation of AI intelligent glasses and announced its entry into offline channels, planning to cooperate with brands such as LOHO and Asia Glasses, and layout more than 2000 experience stores nationwide. The first pop-up stores will be launched in Chengdu, Shenzhen, Wuxi, and Luoyang in December.

Yang Longsheng, CEO of Yimgo Technology, stated that the company hopes AI can truly integrate into daily life, allowing everyone to feel the power of technology through natural wearing. He emphasized that the new product is not just a pair of glasses, but an entry point to a future lifestyle.

At the conference, the person in charge of Tencent App Store pointed out that the shipment volume of smart glasses in China is growing rapidly. It is expected that by 2029, user spending on applications within smart glasses will exceed 2 billion yuan, but there are still pain points such as lack of content and delayed updates. Representatives from Ant Group said that AI glasses are the next generation of service entry points centered around people, but the industry ecosystem still needs to improve software and hardware and native application shortcomings.

Yimgo Technology also launched the "Yimgo World" AI+AR industry ecosystem platform. It will work with Ant Group to promote AI service innovation based on the gPass technical framework, and build an AI+AR developer ecosystem together with Tencent App Store.

Previously, Yimgo Technology was the smart wearable division of Coolpad. It is one of the earliest manufacturers in China to mass-produce wireless consumer-grade AR glasses. Currently, it is known as one of the "Four Little Dragons" in AR along with XREAL, Rokid, and TCL. In 2024, the company moved its headquarters to Chengdu and secured over 150 million yuan in Series B+ funding, accelerating the construction of a global AI+AR open ecosystem.
