Recently, Google announced a comprehensive upgrade to its AI Studio. The newly introduced Vibe Coding feature aims to provide developers, startups, and non-technical users with a more convenient AI application development experience. This new experience is designed to lower the technical barriers from concept to production, further promoting the popularity of AI applications.

The new AI Studio interface adds an application library, which may later display user-created applications, similar to the showcase areas on other platforms. When building an application, users will first see a newly designed page that includes a new model selector, currently supporting professional and fast versions, with more options planned for the future. Importantly, the platform introduces support for secret variables, allowing developers to securely store sensitive information when building and publishing applications, which is a key requirement in application production.

The newly added "Super Capabilities" feature in AI Studio allows users to easily add various AI features with a single click, including media editing, accelerating AI responses, or requesting deeper reasoning. This modular design enables users to flexibly combine different capabilities, simplifying the connection between user intent and technical implementation. Additionally, the interface includes a one-click random recommendation button called "I Feel Lucky," providing users with new creative inspiration.

In the application editor, users can receive context-related suggestions to guide them in adding new features or improving the user interface. Users can also mark specific parts of the interface and instruct the AI to make corresponding adjustments, achieving personalized customization. Applications can be deployed to Google Cloud with a single click, and users can obtain a real-time access link, making it easy to go live quickly.

Although specific details about application distribution have not been confirmed, this step indicates that future features for discovery and sharing will be more widespread. Google's goal is to have one million applications online by the end of the year. This change aligns with its broader agent AI strategy, making AI Studio a core part of its ecosystem and further solidifying its competitive position against competitors such as Anthropic and OpenAI.
