【AIbase Report】October 27th report, according to foreign media Engadget, Google has launched a new feature designed to improve efficiency for its free interactive workspace Gemini Canvas: quickly generate presentations (PPT) based on keywords or files. This powerful feature is aimed at students and professionals who urgently need to create presentations.

Google's Gemini 2.0, Twin Star

Easy to use: Generate based on files or keywords

Users can now create slides with a simple process using Gemini directly:

  • Generate based on keywords: Users just need to enter a prompt, and Gemini will automatically create complete slide content.

  • Generate based on documents: Users can directly upload documents, spreadsheets, or research papers, and Gemini will create the PPT file based on this specific information.

  • Flexible input mode: For topics where the source of the material is not critical, users can enter a prompt such as "upload any material to create a PPT about [specific topic]"; if the file content is important, they can first upload the file and then instruct Gemini to generate it.

Automated design: Theme and images in one step

It is reported that the generated slides will automatically match appropriate theme styles and relevant visual images, greatly simplifying the design and formatting process. Users can edit and optimize the content within the Gemini app and directly export it to Google Slides, making it convenient for subsequent collaborative work.

Currently, this efficient presentation generation feature is fully available to personal accounts and Workspace accounts, and is expected to become a powerful assistant for users creating reports, course materials, and presentation plans.
