OpenAI is thoroughly upgrading ChatGPT from a "chatting AI" to a "task-performing intelligent agent." Recently, it officially launched its first eight application integrations for users in the United States and Canada, covering various life scenarios such as travel, design, learning, music, and real estate. Users just need to mention the application name in a conversation, and ChatGPT can directly call the authorized account to perform real operations—no need to switch or manually enter, truly achieving "say one sentence, and it's done."

The currently available integrations include:
Spotify: Generate a personalized playlist with one sentence, such as "Create a Lo-fi playlist suitable for late-night writing," or "Include only songs by Coldplay," and it can automatically add them to your music library;
Booking.com and Expedia: Input "Find a four-star hotel with breakfast, near the subway, in Tokyo next month, within a budget of $200," and ChatGPT will instantly filter the results, and you can book by clicking the link;
Canva: Describe "Design a 16:9 Q4 product roadmap slide, main color blue, using a sans-serif font," and the AI will generate a draft and sync it to your Canva account, which you can later manually optimize;
Figma: Upload a product requirements document, and let ChatGPT automatically generate a visual roadmap that includes milestones, deliverables, and key dates;
Coursera: Ask "Recommend a high-rated, less than 10-hour intermediate Python course," and the AI not only lists options but also compares course outlines, prices, and user reviews;
Zillow: Use natural language to filter properties, "Find a detached house in San Francisco under $3 million, with four bedrooms and a backyard," and the results match your needs precisely.
Behind these features is ChatGPT's deep access to user-authorized data. For example, after connecting to Spotify, the AI can read your listening history, saved playlists, and preferences to provide highly personalized recommendations. OpenAI emphasizes that all permissions require explicit user authorization, and you can view or disconnect them at any time in "Settings > Apps and Connectors," ensuring data control.
It is worth noting that although AI-generated content (such as Canva designs or Figma charts) may occasionally have flaws, its core value lies in the quick start from "zero to one"—turning ideas into editable drafts instantly, significantly reducing the cold start time for creation.
More excitingly, OpenAI has announced that more lifestyle service giants like DoorDash, OpenTable, Target, Uber, and Walmart will join the integration ecosystem later this year. At that time, daily tasks such as ordering takeout, reserving a restaurant, hailing a ride, and shopping may all fall under ChatGPT's "one-sentence service" scope.
