According to the message from Smart Emergence, Liao Qian, former head of the AI products at ByteDance's CapCut, has announced the establishment of a new company called "Extreme Context," focusing on developing a marketing multimodal Agent. This news has attracted widespread attention in the industry, as Liao Qian has accumulated rich experience in the AIGC (Artificial Intelligence Generated Content) field and successfully completed a seed round of financing worth millions of dollars in a short time.

Liao Qian has held key positions in well-known companies such as Tencent and ByteDance. Since 2019, he has been involved in AIGC technology, participating in the development of the first AI face-swap mini-program in China, which achieved a user base of tens of millions. In 2022, the "Smart Creation Cloud" project he was responsible for at ByteDance quickly became the top traffic product, providing efficient marketing and automation services for small and medium-sized enterprises.

Before starting his own business, Liao Qian was also in charge of the development of the overseas project Pippit for CapCut, offering a one-stop service for creative generation and video production for overseas merchants, with over a million monthly active users now. His career path aligns closely with the rapid development of technology, especially in the context of the booming growth of multimodal AI technology, which led Liao Qian to start his own company at this time.

In an interview, Liao Qian expressed his excitement about the opportunities brought by current technological changes and hoped that "Extreme Context" would change the traditional process of creating marketing videos. He pointed out that the complexity and high cost faced by enterprises when making videos need to be addressed, and many enterprises do not need to learn complex AI tools, but rather want to obtain finished videos through simple interactions.

The first product planned by "Extreme Context" will be a marketing Agent designed to directly understand enterprise needs through multimodal interaction, integrate AI model capabilities, and quickly generate finished videos. Liao Qian believes that China has already led the global short video ecosystem by 1-2 years, so the company will start with the Chinese market and gradually expand to overseas markets.
