In modern life, many people face a dilemma when it comes to their health — the dispersion and fragmentation of health data. Although smartwatches record sleep duration, fitness apps count steps, and nutrition apps track calories, there is a lack of a tool that helps users understand the connections between these data. To fill this market gap, Bevel, a startup based in New York, is working on this issue.

Recently, Bevel secured a $10 million Series A funding led by General Catalyst, which will be used to expand its AI health assistant business. This intelligent assistant can integrate data from wearable devices as well as users' sleep, fitness, and nutrition habits, providing personalized health insights for users. In just two years since its founding, Bevel has achieved an impressive growth in user base, with daily active users exceeding 100,000, making it one of the fastest-growing health apps in the United States.

Grey Nguyen, co-founder and CEO of Bevel, said that health management is a continuous process rather than a short-term goal. The app does not only focus on steps or sleep but offers an all-in-one health management experience. Users can connect with devices such as Apple Health and Apple Watch and synchronize data with various continuous glucose monitors. Additionally, Bevel is also developing compatibility features with brands like Garmin to further expand the range of supported devices.
