On November 22, 2025, the 2025 World Urban Day events - "Innovation-Driven Smart Construction - Building Intelligent Cities" Shanghai Construction Industry Technology Conference was held at the Science Hall. The Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development announced the annual "Top Ten" AI application cases on site and jointly released the 2025 key research directory with universities such as Jiao Tong University and Shanghai University of Engineering Science, marking that Shanghai's construction sector has fully entered the AI-native era.
The four AI achievements selected for the "Top Ten"
1. Yun Gong Large Model: The first MaaS platform in the construction industry in China, offering over 30 professional large model APIs, supporting intelligent generation of CAD drawings and automatic code review. It has been applied to 12 projects such as the Shanghai Airport Express Line, with an average design efficiency improvement of 42%.
2. Tian Chan Construction Robot System: Based on the "Tian Gong Kai Wu" AI intelligent patrol platform, it enables collaborative binding of rebars, pouring, and quality inspection by a group of robots, reducing labor by 35% and decreasing safety accident rates by 60%.
3. Generative CAD Drawing Parsing Platform: One-click conversion of PDF/images into editable BIM models, with element recognition accuracy of 94%, used for digital transfer of the eastern section of the Beiheng Channel.
4. Shield Autonomous Driving Large Model: Real-time geological prediction plus thrust control, increasing the daily advancement speed of shield machines by 18% and controlling ground settlement within 5 millimeters.
