When a car can not only understand complex commands like "don't turn on the air conditioning but turn on the seat heater," automatically play soothing music when your child is crying, and even remember that you need to pick up your child in the afternoon and plan the route in advance—it's no longer a cold machine, but more like a considerate and thoughtful travel companion. On the first day of the Guangzhou Auto Show, SAIC Roewe officially unveiled the M7 DMH. This mid-size sedan is equipped with the "Deep Thinking Large Model" developed through a deep collaboration between Roewe and ByteDance's Douyin, pushing vehicle infotainment interactions from mechanical responses to a new level of human-like interaction.
This is not just a simple upgrade of a voice assistant, but a complete restructuring of the underlying logic. The collaboration between Roewe and Douyin goes deep into every aspect of the technical architecture, data interfaces, and interaction design. The goal is clear: to make the vehicle infotainment system truly "able to reason, think, and understand emotions." Relying on Douyin's large model's 49.2% market share in China and the semantic understanding capabilities accumulated from 159 million monthly active users, the M7 DMH infotainment system demonstrates intelligent performance far exceeding industry averages.

It can accurately interpret vague, compound, or even emotionally charged natural language. For example, when someone says "I feel a bit tired," the system automatically lowers the seat back, switches to relaxing lighting, and plays soft music—this whole process is smooth and seamless. Even more impressive is its ability to remember context. If a user says "pick up the kids in the afternoon" in the morning, and then asks "how long does it take to get to school" in the evening, the vehicle infotainment system immediately provides the optimal route based on real-time traffic conditions and historical preferences. This system covers 15 common driving scenarios and has a much higher accuracy rate in handling complex commands than traditional infotainment systems.
Since its OTA release on November 17, the daily usage rate of the M7 DMH's voice function has jumped from 60% to 90%. Users especially love two "super" features: one is the "calm the kids mode," where the system dynamically adjusts interactive content based on the child's age and automatically plays customized soothing audio when they are crying; the other is the "warm journey guardian," which integrates a professional automotive knowledge base, can diagnose the vehicle's status in real time, provide maintenance advice, and even warn about potential faults.
The hardware is also no less impressive. Priced at 97,800 yuan, the M7 DMH is equipped with the DMH6.0 super hybrid system, offering a pure electric range of 160 kilometers and a total range of up to 2,050 kilometers, completely eliminating range anxiety. The cabin is equipped with a unique memory foam pressure-relief seat with a latex-like feel, making long journeys comfortable. The rear seats have a one-touch folding design that further enhances the flexibility and intimacy of family travel.
Roewe's ambition goes beyond the product itself. By 2025, the brand plans to add 238 new sales channels, focusing on下沉 (downward penetration) into third- and fourth-tier cities, so that this "thinking, warm" smart travel experience can reach a broader audience. When a car is no longer just a means of transportation, but becomes a mobile living space that understands, protects, and accompanies you, the Roewe M7 DMH may be standing at a new starting point in the evolution of smart cars.
