Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, recently officially announced the plural form of his humanoid robot Optimus on the social platform X.
When responding to a user's question, Musk clearly stated that this robot, independently developed by Tesla, is called "Optimus" in singular form, and the plural form is determined to be "Optimi". This naming follows the plural rules of the Latin language.
As a product that Musk considers to be the core of Tesla's future, OptiMs carries a grand vision to revolutionize manufacturing.

According to Tesla's latest plan, OptiMs will start mass production first at the Fremont Factory, with an initial target set at 1 million units per year.
More ambitiously, the super factory located in Texas will build a larger production line, with an expected future annual capacity of up to ten millions of units. Musk previously stated at the shareholders' meeting that OptiMs could become "the fastest capacity ramp-up case of a large and complex product in human history," highlighting his extreme confidence in the commercial prospects of this product.
