At a company-wide meeting, CEO Huang Renxun emphasized the importance of AI in daily workflows and asked employees to use AI tools to complete tasks as much as possible. After announcing record-breaking quarterly revenue of 5.7 billion USD at the meeting, Huang Renxun clearly stated that AI should be extended to every task that can be automated. In response to employees' concerns about AI potentially causing job losses, Huang Renxun said that NVIDIA's rapid expansion means employees need not worry about unemployment. He mentioned that the number of company employees has grown from 29,600 at the end of fiscal year 2024 to 36,000, and hiring is still ongoing. Huang Renxun noted that there are approximately 10,000 job openings at NVIDIA and revealed that the company is expanding new facilities in locations such as Taipei, Shanghai, and multiple places in the United States. He assured employees, "You will have jobs to do."
