In comparative tests, Nova2Pro matched or outperformed Claude Sonnet4.5 in 10 out of 16 evaluations; it matched or outperformed GPT-5.1 in 8 out of 16 tests; and it reached the same level as Gemini3Pro Preview in 8 out of 18 tests. In addition, both Nova2Lite and Nova2Pro are equipped with web search and code execution capabilities, enabling real-time search for the latest internet information to ensure answers are based on the most up-to-date facts, not just training data.
In addition to Nova2Lite and Nova2Pro, Amazon also introduced new models such as Nova2Sonic and Nova2Omni.
