Recently, China Mobile officially launched its first consumer-grade family service humanoid intelligent product - "Lingxi" quadruped robot. The product is designed with the core concepts of "human-like interaction" and "scenario-based service", aiming to deeply adapt to the diverse needs in the home, such as children's companionship, elderly care, and home security.
The "Lingxi" quadruped robot integrates AI large model technology, giving it strong natural language understanding and continuous learning capabilities. This allows the "Lingxi" to accurately understand user intent and gradually learn and adapt to each family's unique lifestyle habits.
The "Lingxi" provides a variety of service functions tailored for different family members and scenarios:
Home Security Patrol: When family members are away, the robot can automatically patrol the entire house along a preset route, using high-definition cameras and environmental sensors to monitor gas leaks, unauthorized intrusions, and other safety hazards in real time, and immediately send alerts to the user's mobile phone.
Elderly Care and Greetings: It can "proactively greet" at set times; if it detects that an elderly person has been staying in the bathroom for a long time or has had a fall, it will immediately go to check and notify the family.
Child Companion and Education: It has voice interaction, playing children's songs, telling stories, and other functions. It can also perform talent shows with flexible body movements, becoming a companion for children's growth.
Moving Photographer: In occasions such as family gatherings, the robot can activate the "Moving Photographer" function to achieve autonomous tracking and shooting.
Zhong Ms., a tech enthusiast, was one of the first offline experience users under the "Smart Creation Experience Officer Program" in Beijing. She showed great interest in the "Lingxi". She admitted that she has a need for children's educational companionship and concerns about the safety of elderly family members when they are alone. After fully understanding her family situation, Beijing Mobile engineers demonstrated the core functions on-site and provided one-on-one operation guidance.
Beijing Mobile stated that it will continue to refine the intelligent service capabilities of the "Lingxi", striving to bring a smarter, more secure, and warmer digital life experience to families across the country and the capital city, helping to take the **"smart home" scenario to a new stage**.
