On International Volunteer Day, Alibaba announced the launch of the first AI for autistic children's picture book - "AI Chasing the Stars" - on the Qwen APP. The project was initiated by Alibaba volunteers and developers from the ModelScope community, aiming to create a more emotionally supportive and personalized reading experience for autistic children (Star Babies).
The 2.0 version launched this time enables "generating a picture book with one sentence". Users just need to input a brief story idea, and the AI can automatically generate picture book content that fits the developmental characteristics of Star Babies, accompanied by the familiar voice of the child's parents for reading, enhancing interactivity and a sense of security.
Users can quickly access the service by typing "AI Chasing the Stars" or "Autistic Picture Book" in the chat box on the main page of the Qwen APP. Alibaba stated that up to now, the service call volume of this AI has exceeded 200,000 times.
"AI Chasing the Stars" not only provides a convenient companion reading tool for family users, but also demonstrates more possibilities of AI in special education and public welfare scenarios.
