On December 10th, the general AI assistant "Lingguang" announced the launch of a new feature - science animation generation. This function is designed to serve educational and scientific popularization scenarios, aiming to visualize abstract and complex scientific principles through intuitive and vivid animated explanations, like a teacher's "interactive digital blackboard notes," making knowledge transmission clearer and more interesting.

How to present complex scientific concepts in an image and dynamic way has always been key to improving learning effectiveness. The science animation capability launched by Lingguang this time is precisely to address this challenge. When users ask questions related to concepts, phenomena, theories, or methods in multiple core scientific and engineering fields such as astronomy, geology, physics, biology, chemistry, information and communication engineering, computer science, electronic science, and mechanical engineering, and request explanations of their principles or processes, Lingguang not only provides structured textual answers but also automatically generates corresponding simulation animations. This greatly reduces the cognitive barrier, especially helping to stimulate the interest of teenagers and science enthusiasts in learning, and assisting teachers and content creators in efficiently presenting knowledge.

For example, when a user asks "How are the seasons formed?" Lingguang explains the principle of Earth's revolution and axial tilt while automatically generating a simulation animation showing how axial tilt leads to the movement of the direct sun's position, thereby causing seasonal changes. If a user asks "How is a black hole formed?" or "How to kick a banana ball in football," corresponding animations about spacetime curvature evolution or the Magnus effect can be triggered accordingly.

According to the report, the Lingguang team will continue to optimize the accuracy and richness of animation generation, covering more academic fields, making the acquisition of scientific knowledge more intuitive and vivid.
