In the Bird's Nest launch event in May 2018, Luo Yonghao released the Nutz TNT Workstation, a product hailed as revolutionary, aiming to achieve desktop-level efficiency through touch and voice interaction. Seven years have passed, and this product is now considered a symbol of being "ahead of its time." Behind this transformation, the rise of AI technology has played a crucial role.

Li Nan, founder of Numa Technology, when reflecting on the TNT, pointed out that Luo Yonghao's product definition at that time was actually wrong. However, with the release of large language models such as GPT, Luo Yonghao's previous ideas seemed to be validated again. He stated that driven by GPT, the concept of TNT suddenly appeared "reasonable" today. Li Nan mentioned that although Luo Yonghao did not foresee the rapid development of AI technology in 2018, his attempt was undoubtedly worth appreciation.

TNT stands for Touch and Talk, a large-screen desktop computing device based on Smartisan OS. Luo Yonghao confidently stated that with multi-touch and voice technologies, TNT could achieve efficiency far exceeding traditional PCs and Macs. However, despite its lofty vision, the market response to TNT was not satisfactory, even leading to online jokes like "Quiet! You're disturbing me using TNT," making it a controversial figure at the time.

Regarding the failure of TNT, Luo Yonghao believed the problem was insufficient resources, not an incorrect idea. He firmly believed that if Smartisan Technology had persisted before the AI era, it might have launched some impressive products. Li Nan agreed, believing that if Smartisan Technology had endured until now in this niche market, it would have had great opportunities in the AI field.

Today, with the rapid development of AI technology, many tech giants still haven't launched substantial innovative products. If Smartisan Technology had continued to innovate back then, it might have become a leader of this era. Although Luo Yonghao's TNT did not fulfill its expectations, its emergence undoubtedly provided important references for later technological developments.
