Google has recently integrated its powerful AI tool NotebookLM into the Gemini platform, allowing users to use notes as context when chatting with AI. This new feature is currently being rolled out to a small group of users and is expected to be widely available in the future.

NotebookLM is an AI tool launched by Google that helps users efficiently manage notes and information. After this integration, users can easily attach their notebooks in Gemini to provide additional context to the AI. This feature was first discovered by tech blogger Alexey Shabanov in November and was officially rolled out to some user accounts over the weekend.

Once users gain access to this feature, they will see the "NotebookLM" option in the attachment panel of Gemini. By clicking this option, users can attach their notebook and guide Gemini to use the information within it. This design allows users to fully utilize its latest reasoning model without leaving the Gemini app.

In addition to attaching notes, users can also click the "Source" button at any time while using Gemini to quickly return to their NotebookLM interface. This makes the integration of users' notes and AI conversations smoother, improving work and communication efficiency.
