Recently, Elon Musk presented an extremely grand vision to the employees at a company-wide meeting held at the headquarters of his artificial intelligence company xAI in San Francisco. Musk clearly stated that if the company continues to develop steadily within the critical window period of the next two to three years, xAI will eventually surpass all existing competitors and become a leader in the global artificial intelligence industry.

In this meeting, which was described internally as "heavily charged," Musk not only shared his judgment on the industry landscape but also provided a highly challenging timeline. He predicted that xAI could achieve general artificial intelligence (AGI) in the coming years—a AI system with capabilities equivalent to or even surpassing human intelligence—and this milestone might arrive as early as 2026.

Musk emphasized that computing power and data processing capabilities would be the key to this super-intelligent competition. xAI has two core advantages: first, strong financial support of up to $20 billion to $30 billion per year, and second, deep ecological collaboration with its subsidiaries such as Tesla and SpaceX. Currently, xAI has built a "Colossus" data center with hundreds of thousands of GPUs and plans to expand its scale to one million.

Additionally, the meeting showcased the latest progress of the Grok model, including Grok Voice for Tesla, enhanced result prediction capabilities, and new video editing features. Musk even envisioned a space data center operated by Optimus robots, further outlining the application blueprint of xAI technology in the interstellar colonization plan.
