At the Volc Engine FORCE Original Power Conference held on December 18, the president of Volc Engine, Tan Dai, announced multiple major updates aimed at accelerating the mass adoption of AI in enterprises through visual model evolution, ecosystem integration, and highly competitive pricing strategies.
In the multimodal field, the Douyin Visual Model has undergone two iterations. The image creation model Seedream4.5 has significantly enhanced capabilities, supporting various commercial functions such as multi-image combinations, creative portraits, virtual try-ons, and poster design. At the same time, the new video generation model Seedance1.5Pro was officially launched. This version achieves high-precision synchronization of audio and video, as well as multi-person multilingual dialogue, with cinematic-level narrative capabilities, and introduces Draft sample function, allowing developers to quickly verify creative consistency at a very low cost.
In terms of ecosystem applications, the Douyin Assistant API has officially been launched on the Volc Ark large model service platform. The initial capabilities such as "daily communication" and "online search" provide enterprise applications with stronger real-time information acquisition and humanized interaction experiences. To further lower the threshold for using models, Volc Engine also launched "AI Savings Plan".
This plan covers all pay-as-you-go large model products, using a tiered discount model, promising that the more you use, the lower the unit price, potentially saving enterprises up to 47%
