OpenAI has quietly launched a new feature called "Formatted Blocks," which automatically adjusts the UI layout, allowing the ChatGPT interface to adapt to specific tasks, significantly enhancing the content creation experience.

Previously, when ChatGPT was used to write emails or blogs, it only displayed content in the form of regular chat bubbles, resulting in a rather monotonous user experience. The newly introduced "formatted block" is essentially a mini editor toolbar. When users highlight text within new rich text areas such as emails or draft writing, this toolbar will automatically appear. This means that ChatGPT no longer treats generated content as dull chat records, but instead presents it as a formatted document that can be edited directly. Users can make immediate adjustments and polishing to their drafts just like they would in Word or Gmail.
