According to AIbase, Google has recently announced the introduction of its most powerful large model, Gemini3Pro, into the "AI Overviews" (AI Summary) feature in its search engine, aiming to tackle complex search queries that were previously difficult to handle.

The core of this upgrade lies in the introduction of an intelligent routing mechanism. Robby Stein, a product manager for Google Search, stated that the system can now automatically identify the complexity of user intent: simple queries are still handled by faster lightweight models, while complex problems requiring multi-step reasoning and deep information synthesis are smartly switched to Gemini3Pro. This model, with its strong logical depth and high proportion of evidence-based capabilities, can perform "query expansion" technology, which involves initiating multiple searches simultaneously and integrating fragmented information to generate dynamic interactive layouts for users. This generative interface no longer just provides text summaries but can also present interactive charts, comparison tools, or simulation results based on needs.

Currently, this enhanced AI Overview feature based on Gemini3Pro is available in about 120 countries and regions worldwide, initially offering priority access to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers, and supporting only the English environment at first. Although the industry still has concerns about the "hallucination" issues of AI Overviews, Google is trying to transform the search experience from traditional "link jumping" to a true "intelligent advisor" model by improving the model's reasoning accuracy and introducing source citations.
