Months after the Android version was launched, Google has officially announced that its highly anticipated "AI Creations" feature is now coming to iPhone and iPad platforms. This update means iOS users can now also take advantage of Google's powerful Gemini AI capabilities, transforming ordinary phone photo albums into highly creative art studios in an instant.

Transforming Photos: From Professional Headshots to Anime Cartoons The core of this feature lies in its rich preset templates, which can automatically recognize and extract the subject (person or object) in the photo and seamlessly integrate it into AI-generated scenes.
Popular Features: Users can choose the "Professional Portrait" template to quickly generate a professional ID photo; use the "Turn into a Collectible" to make the photo tangible; or use the "Create a Cartoon Character" to generate anime-style works showcasing personal hobbies.
Ongoing Updates: Google has promised to regularly update the template library to ensure users' creative process remains fresh and diverse in style.
Access Permissions and Regional Restrictions Although most basic templates are available to all eligible users, Google has also set certain thresholds:
Eligibility Requirements: Access to some advanced or specific templates is restricted, and users need to meet specific eligibility requirements for the Gemini feature in the "Photos" app to unlock them.
Global Rollout: The feature is being rolled out simultaneously in multiple countries and regions, including Argentina, Brazil, India, Japan, Mexico, and Egypt, aside from the United States.
Currently, iPhone and iPad users just need to update Google Photos to the latest version to explore these new AI creative tools within the app.
