Leading company in the field of artificial intelligence Anthropic officially announced this Thursday that the company has successfully raised $3 billion in its Series G funding. With this substantial investment, the company's valuation has soared to $38 billion, doubling from the previous round (Series F) valuation of $18.3 billion.
Top-tier Capital Support

This funding round was co-led by Singapore's sovereign wealth fund GIC and investment giant Coatue. Additionally, DE Shaw Ventures, Founders Fund (founded by Peter Thiel), and MGX from Abu Dhabi also participated as co-lead investors. Other notable participating institutions include Accel, General Catalyst, Jane Street, and the Qatar Investment Authority.
Market Competition and Vision
Currently, Anthropic is in a critical phase of intense competition with OpenAI. The latter recently also reported that it is seeking $10 billion in new financing, with an estimated valuation of about $83 billion.
Regarding this funding, Krishna Rao, Chief Financial Officer of Anthropic, stated that demand for Claude is continuously growing among both startups and global giants.
"Claude is becoming indispensable for business operations. We will use this funding to continue developing enterprise-level models and products that our clients rely on."
