It is planned to be sold in the Chinese market on March 8, and will be introduced to the global market by 2026. As an extension of the Tongyi large model ecosystem, this hardware integrates AI capabilities deeply, aiming to define a new interaction paradigm for smart glasses.
In terms of pricing strategy, the G1 series with top-tier configuration has its final price lowered to 1997 yuan after adding national subsidies. This price point significantly reduces the entry barrier for high-end AI glasses and may trigger a reshaping of the consumer-grade AI hardware market.
In terms of technical integration, the Tongyi AI glasses will fully access the Tongyi APP, offering not only traditional interactive functions but also breakthroughs in application ecology. According to official information, the first batch of practical functions such as ordering food delivery and booking hotels is expected to be available to users by the end of March.
From an industry perspective, the release of the Tongyi AI glasses marks that the competition of large models has shifted from cloud-based algorithm contests to on-device scenario applications.
