AI-Native Content Community NiTa recently announced a Pre-A+ round of funding exceeding ten million U.S. dollars, led by JiKun Venture Capital, with BV Baidu Venture Capital as a co-investor. Existing shareholders such as Yuanma Capital and Qiji Chuangtan have also continued to invest in excess. The funds will be primarily used for recruiting top global talents, investing in multi-modal technology research and development, and expanding new product lines.

The platform NiTa, launched in March 2024, was founded by Hu Xiuhang, who previously worked at Meta. The team has gathered experienced talents from major companies such as ByteDance and Bilibili. The platform lowers the barriers to creating virtual characters and related images, comics, and short films through natural language interaction.

To date, the platform has accumulated over 12 million users, with creators building 5.84 million virtual characters and more than 400 virtual worlds. Active users spend up to 110 minutes per day interacting on the platform. In terms of commercialization, NiTa has achieved positive unit economics (UE), initially verifying the profit potential of AI-native communities.

In the current context of global AI applications developing towards multi-modal and consumer markets, NiTa aims to build a virtual social ecosystem that transcends cultural boundaries by defining a low-barrier digital expression standard. As computing costs decrease and generative technologies evolve, such AI communities with high engagement and self-generated content capabilities are becoming key variables in defining the next generation of internet content consumption models.
