The China Home Appliance and Consumer Electronics Expo (AWE2026) officially opened in Shanghai on March 12, 2026. This exhibition adopted the "one show, two areas" model for the first time, with an exhibition area of 170,000 square meters. From multimodal large models to exoskeleton robots, from AI glasses to smart home appliances, major manufacturers have created a "first launch platform" for the smart life of the next 3 to 5 years.
Evolution of Intelligent Agents: On-site Teaching on "Raising Shrimp"
In the MiniMax booth, the first all-in-one general intelligent agent, MiniMax Agent, became the focus of attention. At the exhibition site, the cloud assistant MaxClaw, built based on OpenClaw, demonstrated strong cross-device collaboration capabilities, and staff even conducted on-site "raising shrimp" (configuring and training intelligent agents) tutorials.
At the same time, SenseTime's "Office Red Panda" also stood out. By integrating into the OpenClaw ecosystem, this AI tool can automatically complete data analysis, PPT generation, and other tasks, and supports a "local deployment + cloud expansion" solution, accurately solving security and compliance issues in enterprise-level delivery.
Embodied Intelligence: Humanoid Robots and Exoskeletons Make Their Debut
The robot exhibition area was undoubtedly the most popular spot at this expo. Domestic newcomers such as Yuneec Technology and Zhiyuan Robotics competed on the same stage as Tesla Bot. In addition, Aoshao Smart introduced multiple electric-powered exoskeleton robots that significantly reduce the physical burden of lifting and upper limb work; Qiangnao Technology showcased non-invasive brain-computer interface technology, enabling the smart prosthetic hand to achieve "hand follows the mind" precise control.
AI Glasses: Opening a New Interaction of "Spatial Perception"
In the wearable device field, AI glasses are gradually replacing traditional terminals. XREAL exhibited its flagship product supporting real-time conversion from 2D to 3D, and announced the next-generation project with "spatial perception" capabilities; Leetech Innovation collaborated with Gaode Map to launch a smart living solution, allowing users to achieve a local life decision-making loop of "see and know, know and navigate" by wearing the glasses.
Smart Home Appliances: Large Models Empower Full-House Intelligence
Appliance giants are driving products from "functionality" to "proactive service". Huawei Harmony Smart Home demonstrated Xiao Yi 6.0, a smart assistant powered by an AI large model, capable of accurately understanding voice commands; LG brought the world's first true wireless transparent TV, which uses an AI chip to intelligently optimize picture and sound quality. In addition, Choerobi Technology took over the entire exhibition hall, presenting a full-scenario AI ecosystem layout ranging from floor cleaning to outdoor travel.
