Today, in a car market with severe homogenization, SAIC MG has decided to redefine "intelligent electric mobility" in a cooler way. On March 12, SAIC MG officially unveiled its new all-electric SUV — MG 4X. This new model not only continues the highly recognizable illuminated logo design but also achieves a "cross-grade strike" in core technology configurations.

What surprised the industry the most was the "technical sincerity" shown by the MG 4X. The new car will be equipped with semi-solid-state batteries, and it has launched the slogan "entry-level access", with a starting range of 510 kilometers. While cars in the same price range are still debating the ratio of lithium iron phosphate, MG has already begun to popularize next-generation battery technology, which will undoubtedly significantly improve the stability of winter range and charging efficiency.

In the second half of intelligentization, the MG 4X chose to collaborate with hardcore players. The new car will be equipped with **Horizon Game AI Model**, which means its intelligent driving system is no longer rigid "obstacle avoidance," but rather can make decisions in complex traffic like an experienced driver. At the same time, the new car deeply integrates OPPO Smart Mobility Ecosystem, providing young users with a smoother digital lifestyle experience through seamless switching between phone and car systems.

Aside from the MG 4X, SAIC MG also announced the new new energy coupe MG 07 at the same time. As the first model of the brand's new naming series, this coupe covers both pure electric and hybrid power options, with a price range set between 150,000 and 200,000 yuan, and is expected to be officially released in April of this year.

As SAIC Roewe also announced the start of its high-end transformation and will release its first AI-native high-end SUV in April, SAIC Group's "mecha storm" in the spring of 2026 is about to take off. When the illuminated logo lights up on the street, this may be another solid business card for Chinese performance electric vehicles to enter the global market.
