On March 23, Qwen launched its ride-hailing capability, allowing users to complete tasks such as selecting a vehicle type, adding stopovers, and scheduling a time with just one sentence. It also supports personalized requests like "a car with fresh air, price no more than 30 yuan," "smooth driving," and "good service attitude."

Even for complex requests, users only need to express their needs directly, and Qwen will understand the intention and match the appropriate vehicle. For example, "Our family wants to go to Shichahai to watch the sunset, take a taxi, six people," the system can automatically determine the number of people and match a business vehicle. For "going to the hospital, there is a patient in the car, and a steady driver is needed," Qwen will prioritize recommending a vehicle with smooth driving. It can also send a message to the driver, asking them to "open the windows in advance for ventilation." After the trip, users can complete the payment directly through "Alipay AI Pay."

When it comes to selecting stopovers, users can flexibly adjust using natural language. Before the trip starts, saying "Please help me take a taxi to Xihu's Turtles' Pond, and first drop off a friend at the West Lake Wetland North Gate," Qwen can automatically add the stopover. It also supports adding a stopover with one sentence after the trip has started.

The ride-hailing capability can be combined with other ecosystem services. Previously, Qwen had already launched capabilities such as ordering food, booking flights and hotels, and travel navigation. After the launch of ride-hailing, users can complete multi-step arrangements through continuous commands, achieving cross-service execution. For example, after "Help me book a hotel near the airport," you can continue by saying "Help me take a taxi to this hotel," and then ask Qwen to "Help me recommend local specialties near the hotel."

Qwen also gives "ride-hailing" the ability to remember and schedule. Users only need to tell Qwen their home and company addresses, and then Qwen can directly "Help me take a taxi home" or "Take a taxi to the company." Saying "I finish work at 6:30 PM, please arrange a car for me," the system can automatically understand the time and complete the reservation. As these capabilities continue to improve, Qwen will provide more personalized travel services for users.

The integration of ride-hailing capability marks an important step for Qwen's "AI Handling Affairs" to expand into complex life scenarios. Since its launch in November last year, Qwen's AI handling capabilities have been used by more and more people. During this year's Spring Festival, 130 million users experienced AI shopping for the first time on Qwen, among whom over 4 million were people aged 60 and above.
