The Beijing Internet Information Office has officially released a registration notice regarding generative AI services. According to the "Interim Measures for the Administration of Generative AI Services" and related regulations, generative AI applications or functions that directly use API interfaces or other methods to call already registered large models will be subject to a registration management system, which means these applications or functions can be legally launched and provide services.

As of April 3, 2026, Beijing has added 15 new generative AI services that have completed registration. The launch of these services provides citizens with more convenience and choices, promoting the application and development of intelligent technology.
According to the regulations, all launched generative AI applications and features must display their launch numbers in prominent positions or on product detail pages. In addition, related products must follow the "Regulations on the Identification of AI-Generated Synthetic Content," adding identification marks to generated synthetic content to ensure transparency and user awareness.
This announcement is not only a step towards the standardized management of generative AI services but also an important move toward the balanced development of technology and regulation. Citizens can look forward to more high-quality services that meet standards, while also maintaining vigilance and a rational perspective on AI-generated content.
