On April 13, Zijing Zhikang, an incubated enterprise of the Institute for Intelligent Industry Research (AIR) at Tsinghua University, officially launched the "Zijing AI Hospital" online virtual clinic, marking a critical step in its transition from technological validation to large-scale application.

The virtual clinic is open to doctors and medical students. Its core function is to support users in building personalized "doctor avatars," which can interact with a large number of hyper-realistic "AI patient avatars" within the system for full-process simulated medical treatment. This bidirectional intelligent interaction model allows the doctor avatar to evolve synchronously with real doctors during joint consultations, achieving digital accumulation of diagnostic decision-making suggestions and process operations.

As a deep exploration in the field of medical AI, "Zijing AI Hospital" originated from the concept of "Agent Hospital" proposed by Professor Liu Yang's team at Tsinghua University in May 2024. Since its establishment in September 2024, Zijing Zhikang has been committed to bringing this virtual medical world into practical use. Currently, the system has set up 26 clinical departments, covering widely distributed AI patient samples.
