Cainiao Group officially launched its first self-developed climbing robot "ZeeBot" at the MODEX 2026 International Logistics Exhibition in Atlanta, and simultaneously announced that the first intelligent operation warehouse project driven by this type of robot has been completed in Guangdong Province. Official test data shows that ZeeBot has strong vertical operation capabilities, able to climb to a five-story-high shelf in just 10 seconds, increasing warehouse storage and retrieval efficiency by up to 100%. The launch of this product marks a key breakthrough for Cainiao in the field of self-researched logistics hardware, achieving a doubling of warehouse space utilization and operational efficiency.
Bi Jianghua, Vice President of Cainiao Group and General Manager of the Logistics Technology Division, stated that traditional logistics automation has long been plagued by fragmented workflows between different stages. As a key product that breaks through single-point bottlenecks, the core value of ZeeBot lies in achieving intelligent collaboration among multiple robots through AI scheduling algorithms, driving warehouse management from partial automation to full-chain intelligence. Currently, hundreds of ZeeBot units have been deployed in Cainiao's cross-border logistics warehouse in Dongguan, Guangdong, providing services for global leading e-commerce platforms.
Currently, Cainiao's climbing robot is officially available for sale in the global market. According to the business roadmap, Cainiao will subsequently deploy this solution in overseas warehouses in Europe and the United States. In the context of AI empowering the global supply chain, the large-scale application of ZeeBot not only improves the accuracy of cross-border logistics fulfillment but also indicates that the industry is accelerating its transition from simple mechanical replacement to a highly integrated and flexible AI cluster collaboration model.
